Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway Sandwiches and Salads. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting our high standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
- Staff Management: Hire and manage food service staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Work Setting: Food service establishment.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, team player.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- Support for Youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
