As a Business Systems Analyst in the HR & Compensation Technology division, you will engage with a diverse team focused on delivering key outcomes for various projects associated with HR technology. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate business requirements for assigned initiatives, ensuring that system needs are accurately identified, configured, and aligned with the strategic objectives of the project. Familiarity with SAP on Premise, particularly in areas such as Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Benefits & Pensions, Time Management, and Payroll, along with integration experience with third-party vendors, is highly desirable.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Grasping the HR business landscape and incorporating opportunities and risks into requirements while conducting information-gathering sessions.
  • Preparing comprehensive business system requirements, identifying, tracking, and resolving system-related issues, and configuring the SAP on-premise system for payroll, benefits, pensions, time, and other modules.
  • Assessing, researching, analyzing, and documenting stakeholder needs in accordance with Project Life Cycle and Capability Maturity Model deliverables, utilizing appropriate information-gathering and modeling techniques to address challenges.
  • Facilitating successful project outcomes by identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies, while continuously exploring solutions that add value to clients.
  • Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and developers, guiding them through requirements and managing expectations regarding project scope.
  • Contributing to the creation of test cases that are closely aligned with requirement specifications.
  • Collaborating within cross-functional project teams, including HRCT Teams, Business Partners, T&O IT Teams, and Vendors.
  • Developing system specifications and test plans in accordance with established standards and methodologies.
  • Gathering requirements necessary for executing business processes through interviews and cross-functional workshops.
  • Translating business needs and processes into actionable system requirements, effectively communicating these with technology experts and business stakeholders.
  • Working closely with business architects and technology personnel to achieve project objectives while conducting risk analysis and meeting deliverable timelines.
  • Providing guidance, expertise, and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a strong learning environment.
  • Participating in early project planning alongside other Business Analysts, the Project Manager, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications for Success:

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in medium to large-scale projects within Agile or iterative waterfall teams as a Business Analyst, complemented by a university degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in analyzing application integrations and facilitating discussions with HR business partners to address issues and enhance application performance.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret business data to support decision-making and effectively communicate findings.
  • Capability to evaluate alternative procedural and systematic solutions that meet organizational standards.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and independent working skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with all levels of staff and management.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a focus on trend analysis, problem identification, and resolution.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, along with strong organizational and analytical capabilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP configurations across Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Benefits & Pensions, Time Management, and Payroll modules.
  • Familiarity with SAP payroll schemas, rules, functions, and dynamic actions.
  • Ability to read ABAP code and debug ABAP programs, or collaborate with technical resources for debugging.
  • Experience with SAP and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is advantageous.
  • Understanding of Workday is a plus.
