About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Solutions Specialist to join our team at Collage HR. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering IT solutions that meet the business requirements of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Gathering and Documenting Business Requirements: You will work closely with our clients to gather and document their business requirements, ensuring that the deliverables produced by the development effort conform to their needs.
  2. Facilitating Requirements Gathering Sessions: You will facilitate the up-front business requirements and system requirements gathering sessions, driving the system functional testing and user acceptance testing process.
  3. Managing the Project Life Cycle: You will manage the normalization period, defect management, and communication to the operational team, ensuring that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
  4. Reviewing Development Deliverables: You will review key development and design deliverables, including interface specifications, integration requirements, data schemas, and design documentation.
  5. Contributing to Project Planning: You will contribute to project planning and administration, including developing project charter documentation, business requirements documentation, and solution design reviews.
Essential Skills and Competencies
  1. Bachelor's Degree and 3+ Years of Experience: You must have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of work experience in a discipline such as Business Analysis, Senior Programmer/Designer, or Systems Analyst.
  2. Business Analysis Skills: You must have strong business analysis skills, including analytical skills and understanding of the basic principles of working with large and complex data sets.
  3. Communication and Leadership Skills: You must have excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, as well as leadership experience defining requirements and solutions related to operational processes.
  4. Technical Skills: You must have knowledge of the project life cycle and the Agile and/or Waterfall methodology, as well as experience with data systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or others.
