Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish best practices and client-approved PPM procedures at the organization PMO level
  • Ensure delivery of projects in accordance with client SDLC procedures, including regulatory and compliance mandates
  • Manage release cycles, write project documentation, and perform other project administration tasks
  • Project coordination for several areas within the Equities program/project portfolio
  • Assist technology leads and project managers in managing a large portfolio of programs and projects
  • Enforce a culture of SDLC and best practices across the technology group
  • Maintain existing departmental and Project Office policies and procedures
  • Update and improve project methodologies, provide mentoring and training to other PMs, and act as an SME
  • Organize and facilitate closure of projects and complete benefit analysis at the end of the project
  • Liaise with various teams, including COO, Technology Central Business Office, Technology Leads, and Management Office team, to provide insightful financial and business analyses and develop senior management reports
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with PMP or similar certification, or 7+ years of relevant experience without certification
  • Expert-level experience with SDLC processes, Agile/Waterfall methodology
  • Expert-level experience with managing projects, tasks, workflow, and reporting in Jira
  • Strong analytical skills, strong skills in data mining, and strong listening, presentation, communication, and influencing skills
  • Strong team player with a strong attention to detail and ability to work productively when unsupervised
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in working with large project management data sets to uncover insights
  • PMP/CAPM certification
  • Agile certification
