Food Services Supervisor

The Food Services Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary team at Spicy Time Fine Indian Cuisine. This position involves overseeing daily food preparation and service activities, ensuring that all operations meet our high standards of quality and efficiency.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
This role is set in a vibrant restaurant atmosphere, where you will lead a team of 3-4 individuals. The environment is fast-paced, requiring the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Order and manage food and kitchen supplies.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Train team members on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Possess knowledge of various culinary styles relevant to our menu.
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and walk frequently.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment.
