Position Overview

The Food Services Supervisor at Spicy Time Fine Indian Cuisine plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our culinary team. This position requires a strong leader who can ensure the highest standards of food quality and service.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced restaurant setting, demonstrating the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory by requisitioning food and kitchen supplies.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Train new staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that all food and service adhere to quality control standards.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Possess knowledge of various culinary genres relevant to the establishment.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for team members.
Supervision

This role involves supervising a team of 3-4 individuals.

Physical Requirements
