Job Title: Senior Project Manager, Construction

At Tricon Residential, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our construction projects from start to finish. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the construction process, including defining project scope, identifying critical paths, and leading the timing of each construction stage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the construction process, including project scope definition, critical path identification, and construction stage timing
  • Prioritize, plan, and coordinate potential risks and technical challenges
  • Determine resources required to ensure all aspects of the project are managed appropriately
  • Lead design and coordination meetings
  • Liaise with partners, consultants, construction management team, building trades, building department, and municipal staff
  • Responsible for financial monitoring of the project, including forecasting, schedule progress, design changes, and potential construction overruns
  • Coordinate all aspects of development and permit applications, drawings, and documents prior to permit submission
  • Manage consultant working drawing groups and meetings
  • Conduct project reviews and create/generate reporting as required

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with proven ability to lead and manage a project team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability or aptitude analyzing drawings for site, building, and suite plans
  • Resilient and works well under stress and pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Hi-Rise/Multi-Residential construction
  • A university or college degree in a related field: planning, engineering, architecture, or construction management or equivalent experience

  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
