Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Financial Operations to join our team at Brookfield Renewable Partners L.P. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading our financial reporting and analysis efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to generate comprehensive reports for lenders, tax-equity partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements in all financial reporting activities, and implement internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.
  • Lender Relations: Direct a team of accountants responsible for being the primary point of contact for lender, tax-equity, and joint-venture partner inquiries and requests.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, preferably in a publicly listed company or a Big Four accounting firm.
  • Skills: Strong Excel skills, in-depth understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and experience with accounting and financial reporting software.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
