Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Director to join our team at Event Network. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for supervising and participating in day-to-day store operations, maximizing the store's retail potential, and ensuring that our guests and team members have the best possible experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Assist the Store Director in recruiting, retaining, supervising, and developing a talented team of retail professionals.
  • Store Operations: Perform day-to-day store operations, including sales-driven strategies, visual merchandising, scheduling, and managing a team to achieve sales goals.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that the highest level of customer service is provided to our guests, creating memorable experiences and driving sales growth.
  • Merchandising and Inventory: Analyze merchandising trends, ensure merchandise is set according to the presentation plan, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Performance Management: Hold self and others accountable to high-performance standards, driving sales growth and team performance.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a retail leadership role, with a strong retail sales background and merchandising abilities.
  • Dynamic leadership skills, with the ability to hire, train, and motivate staff to promote maximum performance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand and follow all guest service programs.
  • Open availability for a flexible work schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts.
  • Proven ability to create a positive work environment and drive sales growth.
Physical Demands
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
