About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at West Park Dental Clinic. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  • Assist dentists with a range of tasks, including preparing plaster models and moulds, ordering dental and office supplies, and maintaining and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
  • Provide excellent patient care, including educating patients on oral hygiene and scheduling appointments.
  • Take and develop X-rays, record dental procedures, and take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless patient care and a positive clinic experience.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Previous experience in a dental setting an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Reliability, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
