Dental Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Downtown Dental Care. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Order and maintain dental and office supplies, ensuring our practice is well-stocked and efficient.
- Prepare dental instruments and materials, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Perform reception and clerical duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health.
- Assist with sterilization and maintenance of instruments and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a dental setting an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
