Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of construction professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure that project requirements are met and that all parties are informed and engaged.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and mitigate potential problems and risks, developing creative solutions to ensure project success.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all construction work meets the highest quality standards, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Safety Management: Develop and implement safety plans, ensuring that all team members and stakeholders are aware of and comply with safety protocols.
- Contract Administration: Manage contracts, including negotiations, amendments, and terminations, to ensure that all parties are satisfied and that project requirements are met.
- Financial Management: Oversee project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, to ensure that projects are completed within budget.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction management, engineering, or business.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Proficient in project management software, including scheduling and budgeting tools.
- Certifications: NCSO designation required, with enrollment in the Gold Seal program preferred.
