About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Construction General Manager to join our team at Sandmere Construction. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall construction process, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all construction work meets the highest quality standards, adhering to relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with construction projects, ensuring that the company's reputation and assets are protected.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring that communication is clear, concise, and timely.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior construction management role, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
