Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at World of Joy Child Care Centre. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Education
    • Develop and implement lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in children
    • Establish a safe and healthy environment that encourages children to explore and learn
    • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive team
  • Observation and Reporting
    • Observe children's behavior, development, and learning styles to identify areas of strength and weakness
    • Prepare and submit written reports to parents and supervisors on children's progress and development
  • Team Collaboration
    • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress, share best practices, and address any concerns
    • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement programs that meet the diverse needs of our children
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in early childhood education
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1)
