Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at North Star Subs Inc. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as supervising kitchen staff and maintaining inventory and records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing waste.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
