Senior Accountant Position at Hinaya's Logistics Inc.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team at Hinaya's Logistics Inc. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, manage benefits administration, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare financial analysis and reports, including trend analysis and variance reports.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, including corporate tax returns and GST/HST returns.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and credit card statements.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
