Job Summary

We are seeking a Civil Engineering Co-op Student to join our Railway Engineering team in Vancouver. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on complex railway projects in Western Canada, contributing to the design and development of infrastructure that supports the growth and development of our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design and development of railway projects, from concept to delivery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop functional designs that meet regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Maintain high-quality standards through quality control processes
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree or diploma program at an accredited university or college
  • Knowledge of current technical engineering codes and practices
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
  • Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
Competencies
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D is considered an asset
  • Ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Shows critical and creative thinking, problem-solving, and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges
