About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op Student to join our Bridges and Infrastructure team as a Civil Engineer. As a Co-op Student, you will have the opportunity to work on complex projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and gain valuable experience in the field of Civil Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks for various infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate with other technicians and related disciplines to produce design deliverables.
  • Compile design drawings and prepare design submissions and other technical documents.
  • Provide assistance to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering co-op program.
  • Relevant courses: Hydraulics, Fluid Mechanics, Project Management, Infrastructure Design/Planning, and Construction Engineering.
  • In good academic standing.
  • Interested in Civil Engineering - bridges and miscellaneous structures as a career.
  • Extracurricular involvement is considered an asset.
  • Experience with municipal infrastructure, utility coordination, geotechnical field work, and construction is an asset.
  • Experience in development of project layouts and civil details.
