Job Title: Bridges Co-op Student

Hatch is seeking a talented and motivated Bridges Co-op Student to join our Highways & Bridges group in Vancouver, BC. As a co-op student, you will have the opportunity to work on complex projects around the world, collaborate with diverse teams, and apply your academic learning in a real-world setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks for various infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate with other technicians and related disciplines to produce design deliverables.
  • Compile design drawings and prepare design submissions and other technical documents.
  • Provide assistance to Senior Engineers and Designers as needed.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering co-op program.
  • Relevant courses: Hydraulics, Fluid Mechanics, Project Management, Infrastructure Design/Planning, Construction Engineering.
  • In good academic standing.
  • Interested in Civil Engineering - bridges and miscellaneous structures as a career.
  • Extracurricular involvement is considered an asset.
