About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Home Hardware. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth through effective merchandising and sales techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and discuss their needs, providing expert advice on products and services to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services, and effectively promote and sell them to customers.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and perform tasks to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Operational Tasks: Perform tasks such as operating cash registers, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail sales environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced retail environment with frequent customer interactions.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform tasks that require repetitive motion.
