Bilingual Senior Business Consultant

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead collaborative workshops with diverse business stakeholder groups to facilitate requirements gathering, analysis, and validation. Utilize advanced elicitation techniques to engage various stakeholder types.
- Conduct data mapping, reverse engineering, and document current processes while performing gap analysis to support future state development.
- Execute comprehensive business analysis, which includes understanding business goals, planning, scoping, analyzing, documenting, prioritizing, managing changes, maintaining traceability, and backlog management.
- Create detailed requirements documentation including Problem Opportunity Analysis, Scope Modeling, Business Process Mapping, Business Context Diagrams, High-level and Detailed Requirements, Use Cases & Scenarios, Business Rules & Data Catalog, User Stories, Story Decomposition, Story Mapping, and Requirements Traceability.
- Establish and maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation to support future projects, adhering to enterprise standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and Scrum Master to prioritize, draft user stories, and refine product and sprint backlogs with the team.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role within the Insurance sector, particularly in Policy, Claims, and Life & Health.
- Relevant undergraduate degree and/or advanced education in Business Analysis.
- Proven experience in facilitating and collaborating with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements.
- Expertise in data mapping, reverse engineering, gap analysis, and documenting current and future processes.
- Advanced skills in requirements analysis and documentation, including Problem Opportunity Analysis, Scope Modeling, and Business Process Mapping.
- Strong experience in preparing High-level and Detailed Requirements, Use Cases & Scenarios, Business Rules & Data Catalog, User Stories, Story Decomposition, Story Mapping, and Requirements Traceability.
- Excellent communication, active listening, relationship-building, self-management, proactive approach, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Certification in Business Analysis such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA is a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required for regular interaction with colleagues.
- Familiarity with development methodologies including Agile, BI, SDLC, SCRUM, and Kanban.
- Experience with Jira and/or Confluence is essential.
