About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Shoal Lake Motor Inn. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Manage inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
