About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Brigadier Equities Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Efficient Work Schedules: Develop and implement effective work schedules to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Manage Food and Kitchen Supplies: Oversee the procurement, storage, and inventory management of food and kitchen supplies.
  • Supervise Food Preparation and Portioning: Ensure that food is prepared and portioned according to established standards and recipes.
  • Train Staff on Job Duties and Safety Procedures: Provide comprehensive training to kitchen staff on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Needed: Conduct regular inventory checks and estimate ingredient and supply needs to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.
  • Ensure High-Quality Food and Service: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for kitchen operations, including food, supplies, and labor costs.
  • Handle Customer Feedback: Respond to customer feedback and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain Records and Prepare Reports: Maintain accurate records of kitchen operations, including inventory, sales, and customer feedback.
  • Coordinate Food Orders with Chef: Work closely with the chef to coordinate food orders, menu planning, and kitchen operations.
  • Check Tray Assembly: Ensure that tray assembly is completed to high standards, including presentation and quality.
  • Set Work Schedules for Staff: Develop and implement work schedules for kitchen staff, including breaks and time off.
Supervision
  • Oversight of 5-10 kitchen and food service helpers.
