DOF Subsea is a leading provider of subsea services to the offshore oil and gas industry. With a strong presence in major production regions around the world, we offer a range of services including offshore construction support, survey, and inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM).

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Offshore Subsea Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our project teams in the development of procedural documents for offshore ROV operations, creating mobilization plans, and managing on-deck operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Aid project teams in the development of procedural documents for offshore ROV operations.
  • Create and manage mobilization plans, including on-deck operations.
  • Develop and maintain offshore work instructions in accordance with DOF Subsea guidelines and client requirements.
  • Direct on-shift operations on deck and subsea, ensuring compliance with planned procedures and work instructions.
  • Complete and sign off procedures, work reports, and closeout reports as necessary.
  • Prepare and submit field reports and daily progress reports.
  • Generate and facilitate lift plans as required for operations.
  • Conduct risk assessments on board the vessel or onshore.
  • Facilitate and draft management of change (MOC) documents in accordance with DOF Subsea and client procedures.
  • Liaise with offshore client representatives and vessel/subsea teams to support onshore project teams with tooling design and creation.
  • Review and update offshore procedures, incorporating comments from marine and subsea departments as necessary.
  • Participate in site integration testing and tooling factory acceptance testing as required by onshore teams.
  • Develop basic rigging design and procedural writing skills.

**Requirements**

  • 3 years of experience in offshore operations.
  • Subsea IRM experience.
  • General subsea construction experience.
  • Engineering or technology degree (asset but not necessary).
  • Experience with controlling vessel operations during subsea activities (asset).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Years of experience recognized as a supplement to post-secondary education.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Experience with developing lift plans.
  • Experience with facilitating MOCs/HIRA.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Basic safety training.
  • ROC-MC training.
  • Rigging and slinging training.
  • NORM or RSO training.
