Engineering Consultant for Subsea Operations

As a leading provider of subsea solutions in key oil and gas production areas worldwide, DOF Subsea employs cutting-edge ROVs, survey technologies, and offshore construction vessels to deliver comprehensive subsea services.

DOF Subsea Canada is on the lookout for a detail-oriented and client-centric Intermediate Engineer to enhance their team. The ideal candidate will work closely with both offshore and onshore teams, reporting directly to the Project Technical/Engineering Manager. This position encompasses a variety of tasks including analysis, design, and may involve offshore and/or international travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in core business operations such as subsea construction, decommissioning, and engineering assessments;
  • Ensure project milestones are achieved within budgetary and scheduling constraints;
  • Drive initiatives to create innovative solutions for clients;
  • Engage in business development and proposal activities;
  • Prioritize safety, cost efficiency, and advanced technical solutions;
  • Foster a culture of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) and uphold organizational values;
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering and operational teams;
  • Work towards achieving key performance metrics;
  • Conduct responsibilities with integrity and compliance;
  • Willingness to undertake offshore assignments as necessary;

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline;
  • 3-5 years of experience in subsea project engineering;
  • Professional Engineering license or in the process of obtaining one;
  • Experience with ROV construction and subsea infrastructure;
  • Familiarity with specialized software and marine environments;
  • Strong technical writing and communication abilities;
  • Desire to mentor and support team members;
