Job Title: Offshore Subsea Specialist

DOF Subsea is a world-class offshore construction support, survey, and IRM contractor. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Offshore Subsea Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Aid the project team in developing procedural guidelines for offshore ROV operations;
  • Create and manage mobilization plans, on-deck operations, and offshore work instructions;
  • Direct on-shift operations, ensuring compliance with DOF Subsea guidelines and Cenovus instructions;
  • Complete and sign off on procedures, work instructions, and closeout reports as necessary;
  • Generate and facilitate lift plans, risk assessments, and management of change (MOC) documents;
  • Liaise with offshore client representatives and vessel/subsea teams;
  • Review and update offshore procedures, ensuring compliance with marine and subsea department comments;
  • Participate in site integration testing and tooling factory acceptance testing as required;
  • Develop basic rigging design and procedural writing skills.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in offshore operations;
  • Subsea IRM experience;
  • General subsea construction experience;
  • Engineering or technology degree (asset but not necessary);
  • Experience with controlling vessel operations during subsea activities (asset);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with developing lift plans;
  • Facilitating MOCs/HIRA's;
  • AutoCAD or similar software;
  • Basic safety training;
  • ROC-MC training;
  • Rigging & slinging training;
  • NORM or RSO training.
