About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager - Sales to join our team at Surestay Hotel by Best Western. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through effective sales and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless day-to-day operations, including managing budgets, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and loyalty.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement business strategies that align with company goals.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a sales or business development role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Personal Qualities: Organized, team player, and bondable.
Work Environment
  • Work Conditions: Work under pressure, with attention to detail.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
