Job Title: Precision Machinist

  • Interpret and analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and components
  • Set up and calibrate production machinery and tools
  • Assemble and fit components and machine parts to precise tolerances
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments
  • Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Keep inspection records and complete inspection reports
  • Verify dimensions of machined parts using precise measuring instruments
  • Set up and operate both conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
