About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist - CNC Specialist to join our team at Tool Room Services Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our CNC machines, ensuring high-quality production and meeting customer demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain CNC Machines: Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
  • Quality Control: Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, and document any deviations from specifications.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments, and perform routine maintenance on CNC machines.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with production team members to ensure smooth production processes and meet customer deadlines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, accurate and dependable, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Equipment Experience: Experience with automatic lathes, engine lathes, milling machines, and computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced production environment.
