About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Sympro CNC Machining & mfg. Inc. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex machine tools and equipment to produce high-quality parts and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Machine Tools
    • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements.
    • Set up and adjust production machineries/tools to ensure accurate and efficient production.
    • Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce parts and products.
  • Inspect and Test Products
    • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
    • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.
  • Maintain a Safe and Efficient Work Environment
    • Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient production.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
