About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Sympro CNC Machining & mfg. Inc. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex machine tools to produce high-precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Machine Tools
    • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements
    • Set up and adjust production machineries/tools to ensure accurate and efficient production
    • Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-precision parts and components
  • Inspect and Test Products
    • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
    • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Maintain a Safe and Efficient Work Environment
    • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machine tools and equipment
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
