Administrative Support Specialist

The role of the Office Administration Clerk at BODEL AUTO DIRECT INC involves providing essential administrative support in a dynamic work environment. This is a temporary position requiring commitment to a 30-hour work week.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role or equivalent experience
The successful candidate will operate in various settings including:
- Office
- Warehouse
- Service company
As an Office Administration Clerk, your duties will include:
- Managing telephone and electronic inquiries
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail
- Sending and receiving messages
- Performing basic bookkeeping tasks
- Preparing and formatting documents
- Compiling data and statistics
- Generating invoices and processing bank deposits
- Providing general information to clients and the public
- Ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory
- Conducting data entry tasks
- Delivering customer service
- Organizing and filing documents
- Storing and updating financial data
Proficiency in the following software and tools is required:
- MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
- Accounting software (QuickBooks, Simply Accounting)
- Adobe Suite (Photoshop)
- Electronic scheduling tools
Experience in a community service organization or within the automobile and trucking industry is an asset.
Security and SafetyApplicants must meet the following criteria:

Candidates should have their own transportation, as travel expenses will not be covered by the employer. Public transportation options are available.
