Assistant Culinary Leader

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Culinary Leader to elevate our food and beverage services. This role is essential in supporting the Executive Chef and stepping in during their absence. The Assistant Culinary Leader is often tasked with training new kitchen staff and overseeing the culinary team. Quick thinking, sound decision-making, and innovative ideas are crucial in this dynamic kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate expertise in all kitchen operations, setting a professional standard for team members;
  • Prepare individual dishes and full-course meals with precision;
  • Utilize specialized cooking equipment while adhering to food safety protocols;
  • Ensure food quality, flavor, and presentation meet guest expectations;
  • Produce high-quality dishes efficiently while minimizing waste;
  • Accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies with care;
  • Communicate effectively with the Chef regarding any kitchen issues;
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workspaces and equipment;
  • Organize daily production schedules and ensure timely preparation;
  • Monitor inventory and assist with ordering and waste control;
  • Lead the team in maintaining high standards of food safety and quality;
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
