Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate leadership by setting a standard of excellence in kitchen operations.
  • Prepare individual dishes and multi-course meals with precision.
  • Utilize specialized cooking equipment while adhering to food safety protocols.
  • Ensure food quality, flavor, and presentation meet guest expectations.
  • Produce high-quality meals efficiently while minimizing waste.
  • Accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences with care.
  • Communicate effectively with the Chef regarding any kitchen issues.
  • Maintain quality control throughout food preparation processes.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Oversee cleanliness and functionality of kitchen areas and equipment.
  • Coordinate daily production based on event orders and ensure timely execution.
  • Monitor food costs and minimize waste through effective production management.
  • Engage in inventory management, ordering, and training to uphold food safety standards.
  • Prepare the kitchen for upcoming services by ensuring all prep levels are met.
  • Maintain organized storage areas and oversee cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Chef.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • A passionate and energetic individual with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
  • Ability to follow through on responsibilities while fostering a positive team culture.
  • Previous culinary experience, particularly in a hotel setting, is preferred.
  • Completion of a culinary program is advantageous.
  • Current Food Safe Certification is required.

  • Physical capability to handle the demands of a busy kitchen environment.
