  • Execute comprehensive accounting services using cloud-based platforms such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
  • Support payroll processing tasks as needed.
  • Conduct month-end closing activities, including the reconciliation of bank accounts and credit card statements, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Assist in the preparation of governmental submissions, including sales tax returns and payroll documentation.
  • Engage with clients regularly to address their daily accounting inquiries and provide assistance.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of practical accounting experience, ideally within a professional services environment.
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; enrollment in the CPA program is considered an asset.
  • 1-2 years of experience with relevant computerized and cloud-based financial accounting systems.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Xero, and QuickBooks Online.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
