We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented recent graduate to join our Downtown Toronto branch as an Associate in Wealth Management.
In this role, you will provide exceptional service and support to both our clients and the Advisor team, playing a crucial role in enhancing client relationships and facilitating the onboarding of new clients. As a key liaison, you will assist in maintaining client accounts, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and compliant, while collaborating with an Investment Advisor to manage client portfolios and wealth management strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee existing client accounts and proactively identify opportunities for client engagement, ensuring timely management of account timelines and key dates.
- Address client inquiries efficiently and empathetically, handling account transactions, requests, and documentation.
- Utilize your problem-solving abilities to deliver proactive client service, collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless solutions.
- Manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors, and other stakeholders effectively.
- Assist the Advisor team in the onboarding process for new clients.
- Coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisors with clients and prospects, leveraging your organizational skills.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and industry regulations by maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files.
- Utilize social media skills to enhance the team's communication channels, including websites and newsletters.
- Follow up on client trades to ensure proper execution and settlement.
- Support the Advisor team throughout the Wealth Management process, maintaining an audit of activities and priorities.
Qualifications for Success
Essential Requirements
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH).
- Proficiency in business applications and technology, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional client service with a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with RBC Dominion Securities' systems and processes.
- Experience in the securities industry is advantageous.
