About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Reporting Specialist to join our team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a key member of our investment management team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of external and internal financial information related to investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform financial close processes, including system feeds, key internal controls, and validation of end results in a timely manner and with the highest level of quality.
  • Participate in the production of external financial information related to investments, including financial statements, management reports, and Canadian regulatory reporting.
  • Contribute to the production of internal reporting on investment results for multiple entities in different countries.
  • Collaborate with other Finance teams on the integration of investment results in global reporting.
  • Work closely with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Continuously improve accounting and internal control processes through automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
  • CPA designation or successfully passed the CFE.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience or experience in an audit firm.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Independent and efficient, team player.
  • Interested in and curious about investments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required.
