Your Role at PSP Investments
As an Investment Accounting and Financial Information Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data within our investment accounting systems. Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, from conducting meticulous analyses and reconciliations to preparing comprehensive financial reports that inform strategic decision-making.
- Data Integrity and Reconciliation: You will be responsible for validating the accuracy of financial data within our accounting system and reconciling investment transaction journal entries with the general ledger. This ensures a reliable foundation for all financial reporting.
- Net Asset Value Calculation: You will calculate the net asset value (NAV) of our Funds on a monthly basis, providing essential insights into fund performance and investor returns.
- Financial Reporting Excellence: You will prepare comprehensive monthly consolidated financial statements related to investments, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will contribute to the preparation of supplemental notes for quarterly and annual financial statements, enhancing transparency and clarity for stakeholders.
- Management Reporting and Analysis: You will generate various financial management reports on a weekly, monthly, or ad hoc basis, providing timely and insightful data to support investment decision-making.
- Process Improvement and Control: You will actively participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust processes and controls essential for the preparation of consolidated financial statements related to investments. This ensures accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Documentation and Collaboration: You will maintain comprehensive documentation related to various service procedures, fostering transparency and knowledge sharing within the team. You will also contribute to departmental initiatives and special projects, demonstrating your commitment to continuous improvement.
