Investment Reporting Accountant

About the Role
As an Accounting Specialist, Investment Reporting, you'll play a critical role in supporting our investment teams by delivering high-quality financial information related to investments. You'll work closely with our Manager, Investment Reporting, and other team members to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform financial close processes, including system feeds, key internal controls, and validation of end results in a timely and high-quality manner.
- Contribute to the production of external financial information related to investments, including financial statements, management reports, and Canadian regulatory reporting.
- Participate in the production of internal reporting on investment results for multiple entities in different countries.
- Collaborate with other Finance teams on the integration of our investments results in global reporting.
- Work closely with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
- Continuously improve accounting and internal control processes through automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
What You'll Bring
- CPA designation or successful completion of the CFE.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience or experience in an audit firm.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
- Independent and efficient, with a strong team player mentality.
- Interest in and curiosity about investments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is required for candidates located in Quebec.
