About the Position

We are currently seeking an Accounting Specialist for Investment Reporting to join our dedicated team. This role is crucial in delivering accurate financial information related to our global investments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal controls.
  • Contribute to the preparation of external financial reports, including group financial statements and regulatory submissions.
  • Support the generation of internal reports detailing investment performance across various entities.
  • Collaborate with Finance teams to integrate investment results into comprehensive global reports.
  • Engage with auditors by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
  • Drive improvements in accounting processes through automation, enhancing efficiency and precision.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a CPA designation or successful completion of the CFE.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an audit capacity.
  • Quick learner with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Genuine interest in investment management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Bilingualism is required for candidates in Quebec to facilitate communication with English-speaking colleagues.
