Overview

The Technical Service Representative (TSR) plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of equipment and systems for our clients. This position is vital for maintaining the highest standards of service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance to guarantee equipment functionality for users.
  • Operate equipment (printing, scanning, copying) to produce required documents, including the use of finishing devices.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients regarding maintenance, production, and supply management of assigned equipment.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients about equipment status and availability.
  • Proactively manage the replacement of consumables and supplies as necessary.
  • Provide training to clients on product usage to enhance their understanding of equipment capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Managed & Technical Services teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Report activities accurately and promptly using designated reporting tools.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective management and collaboration with Xerox personnel as needed.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize equipment performance and uptime.

Required Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a technical knowledge assessment.
  • A valid driver's license is essential for travel to client locations (company vehicle provided).
  • Proven experience in delivering services in an on-site client environment with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Previous experience as a field technician or in electrical/mechanical repair is mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a diverse clientele.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance and repair of electronic, electrical, or mechanical printing and computing equipment.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and internet navigation.
  • Basic understanding of network printing processes.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.
