About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Testing and Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at S M Software Solutions Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, plans, and scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing efforts, ensuring seamless integration with business operations
  • Design and implement automated testing tools and scripts to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness, driving business value through data-driven insights
  • Provide expert-level guidance and support to junior team members on testing methodologies and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Requirements
  • 10 years of experience in planning and organizing testing efforts for large systems in GUI and non-GUI environments, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results
  • Proven experience with business clients, supporting user acceptance testing, and participating in UAT activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Demonstrated experience in executing functional tests, non-functional tests, and systems-level integration tests, with a strong focus on quality and reliability
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge and experience in at least one programming language, with a strong understanding of software development principles
  • Experience in the use of information retrieval packages, with a focus on data-driven insights and business value
  • Knowledge and understanding of testing methods in an object-oriented environment, with a strong focus on quality and reliability
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices, with a focus on data governance and compliance
