Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough and detailed testing of our software applications to identify and report defects and issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and design, to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality and functionality.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive testing of our software.
  • Identify and document software defects and issues, and work with development teams to resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues that may be causing defects or issues.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of software development methodologies, testing strategies, and quality assurance best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that our software remains competitive and innovative.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, testing strategies, and quality assurance best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and document defects and issues.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and software applications.
  • Strong understanding of testing tools and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle, testing strategies, tools, and QA methodologies.
  • Experience with small business inventory management.
  • Some ability to write program code.
