Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Parts Sales Specialist to enhance our customer service experience. This role is crucial in ensuring that customers receive the correct parts to meet their needs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers at the parts counter by accurately identifying their requirements and locating the appropriate parts.
  • Utilize expert knowledge and company resources to guide customers in determining necessary parts.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by providing advice and inquiring about related parts for successful repairs.
  • Manage incoming parts inquiries across all product lines.
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers, ensuring they feel valued and well-served.
  • Provide timely written quotes and follow up on customer inquiries.
  • Engage in telemarketing parts sales during designated campaigns.
  • Monitor special orders and inform customers promptly upon arrival.
  • Ensure accuracy in billing parts to work orders.
  • Stay updated on new products and models to continuously enhance parts knowledge.
  • Participate in Saturday shifts on a rotational basis and be available for on-call duties.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Positive attitude with excellent public presentation abilities.
  • Above-average verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the sales process.
  • Proven ability to operate a computerized inventory and ordering system.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of general parts terminology.
