Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Parts Sales Specialist to enhance our customer service experience. This role is essential in ensuring that customers receive the correct parts for their agricultural equipment needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers at the parts counter by accurately identifying their needs and efficiently sourcing the appropriate parts.
  • Utilize expert knowledge and available resources to guide customers in selecting necessary components.
  • Increase the chances of successful repairs by providing insightful recommendations and identifying additional parts that may be required.
  • Manage incoming calls related to parts inquiries across all product lines.
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers, ensuring they feel valued and well-served.
  • Deliver timely written quotes to customers and follow up as necessary.
  • Engage in telemarketing initiatives during designated sales campaigns.
  • Monitor special orders and promptly inform customers upon their arrival.
  • Ensure accuracy in billing parts to work orders.
  • Stay updated on new products and models, continuously enhancing parts knowledge.
  • Participate in a rotating Saturday schedule and be available for on-call duties.

Required Qualifications

  • Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Positive attitude with a cheerful demeanor and strong public presentation skills.
  • Strong verbal communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with the sales process.
  • Proven ability to navigate computerized inventory and ordering systems.
  • Basic mechanical understanding and knowledge of general parts terminology.
