Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads, arrange meetings, assess client needs, and promote suitable insurance products and services.
- Deliver timely, accurate, and friendly customer support, which may include addressing inquiries about insurance options, eligibility, coverage details, policy modifications, claims processing, and billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with the agency to set and achieve marketing objectives.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in sales (outside sales, inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing).
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication abilities - written, verbal, and listening.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Capability to present information to potential clients.
- Property & Casualty License (OTL) and Life Insurance License (LLQP) must be acquired prior to starting. Course and license reimbursement available after one year with the agency.

Benefits:

Compensation:
- Base salary of $45,000 plus commission and bonuses.
- Potential earnings of $60,000 - $80,000 by achieving performance targets, including base salary, commission, and bonuses.
This position is with an independent contractor agent who is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network. The employees of this agent are not employees of Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. Independent contractor agents are responsible for all employment decisions regarding their staff.
