Insurance Sales Representative Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Insurance Sales Representative to join our team at George Rappos Insurance Agency in Newmarket. As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing leads, scheduling appointments, and marketing products and services to meet customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet agency targets and goals
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support
  • Educate and advise clients on Desjardins products and services
  • Work collaboratively with the Agent team to achieve sales objectives
Qualifications:
  • LLQP and/or OTL license is preferred, but not required at hiring
  • Product/service sales experience is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Out-going personality and ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Superior computer skills and social media savvy
Compensation:

We offer a competitive compensation package, including base salary, commission, bonus, health and dental benefits, paid vacation, personal and sick time off.

Please note that this position is with an independent contractor agent that is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network, not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries.
