Position Overview

The organization offers exceptional technical support to refineries and petrochemical plants globally, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Streamline real-time optimization objectives with corporate goals.
  • Develop best practices and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to enhance performance.
  • Analyze data from diverse sources to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement advanced process control strategies to optimize operations and maximize product yield.
  • Stay informed on the latest advancements in real-time optimization techniques.
  • Provide technical support and training on optimization systems to engineers and operators.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of optimization solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate potential safety, environmental, and reliability risks.
Innovation and Leadership

Conduct benchmarks and pilot evaluations of new technologies, including Machine Learning and AI, to enhance yield. Lead technical sessions such as design and model reviews, and assess plant operations to recommend improvements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Advanced Process Control or Real-time Optimization.
  • Proven expertise in advanced process control solutions and refinery economics.
  • Strong understanding of refinery operations, feedstock movements, and process yields.
  • Familiarity with international standards for process modeling.
  • Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to guide technical discussions and teams.
