About the Role

Essity Health and Medical is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to provide timely and effective administrative support to customers, sales team, unit, or department. This individual will be responsible for following established procedures and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with customers via telephone and other media (fax, e-mail, etc.)
  • Process sales and invoices to ensure customer orders are dispatched, invoiced, and paid accurately and on time in relevant system according to defined process and standards.
  • Verify accuracy of orders and contact customers as required to ensure customer needs are met
  • Use discretion in handling problem orders and offer options to proactively solve customer needs
  • Responsible for administering company warranty and replacement policy
  • Quote contract pricing, discounts, and list prices
  • Inform customers of back orders
  • Resolve customer complaints or discrepancies
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area and all reference materials up to date
  • Answer internal and customer enquiries on product availability, prices, delivery times, and the status of orders
  • Communicate and collaborate with staff from other areas in the organization to confirm the status of orders and resolve customer complaints
Requirements
  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years in a customer service role
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Ability to work in a team
  • PC experience (MS Office, MS TEAMS), excel spreadsheet, e-mail, SAP database applications, and CRM
  • Experience operating fax machines, scanners, and other office hardware
  • Excellent communication skills, oral/written
