About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at RESIDENTIAL INSULATION SPECIALISTS INC. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality drywall installation for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and Install Metal Corner Beads: Protect exterior corners with precision and attention to detail.
  • Filling and Smoothing: Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife, and smooth out excess compound to a high finish.
  • Drywall Sheet Installation: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Sheet Securing: Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists with precision and care.
  • Taping and Embedding: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to create a seamless finish.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and hand-eye coordination are essential for this role.
  • Work Conditions: Tight deadlines and a fast-paced work environment are typical of this position.
